I have a friend who loves reading. He reads all kind of books, from logical to motivation, from linguistic to history. You name it, he is truly a book worm! one day he have a problem an ask for my advise.

I ask him; I thought you have read thousand of books.

He replied; Yes, i do..it doesn't precisely answered my need. Book are window to the world

Me; Yes, that i agree. But what are you looking for from those books?

He replied; I wanted to know about life, i want to know more and i want to upgrade my knowledge.

Me; does it answered your question about life?

He replied; Not really, sort of...

Me; Yes! book will upgrade you, open the world for you. When you buy new thing, what did you do first, especially electronic appliances?

WHAT I HAVE LEARNT

This year was my 29th years living on earth. What have i learnt on my ways? Many things!

Last time it was hard for me to understand why my parents scolded me for some small mistakes i have done.
Now, i always asked myself, why my little boy keep doing the same act though i have thought him that it was wrong.

Last time, all i want to do is play more, study less. Haha!!
Now, i just keep my mouth shut when my boy running here and there all day long and eat just a little bit.

Last time, i feel that i was so small and my teacher was the tallest among all.
Last month during school's reunion, i think we are taller and bigger among the teacher..hahaha

One things i regret the most, why on earth that no one ever wanted to tell me about the Love of Christ when i was still very young so that i will not done so much mistakes in my life and hurt those who loves me. Thanks God, now i know HIM...Good news is not for us to keep ourselves, it was to be spread to other so that they will feel the joy we feel.

PEJALAI PULAI KE MENUA.

Bulan kemari kami menyanak nemuai ke menua. Pama lelak, bebai ke barang tapi dalam ati tang excited. Anakku kelebih agik, nyau kinding-kinding tudah bejalai ba airport, happy mai tudah baka nemu dirik di bai kami bejalai. Sebedau tuk nyau trauma anak sigatku nyak laban selalu ditinggal kami duai daddy iya maya bisi pengawa "out-station". Nya meh, tiap kali nganjung ngagai babysitter nyau rauh-rauh nyabak, takut kami enda ngambi iya lemai. Pintar mai anak diatu.

Pagi-pagi kami berangkat ari Tanjung Pinang 2 1/2 jam ngena feri ke Johor. Udahnya terus ngena teksi ke airport, enda nganti agi kami menyanak terus check-in laban cun-cun gak time boarding sekejap agik. Pejalai ngena bilun MAS cukup ok bagi aku, the staffs was polite and friendly. Anakku nyau enda nemu diau dalam bilun.

Datai ba airport Kuching, tambah excited agik kami. Balat panas menua. Bujang sigat kami turun ari bilun nyau ngena singlet aja, abis baju basah laban manchal dalam bilun.

Mayuh perubahan Kuching pedaku, mayuh shopping mall ka digaga. Manah gak pikirku, awak enda jauh-jauh urang shopping ke KL etc. Puas bejalai ba mall di Kuching, bujang sigat kami paling suka bejalai, baru datai ba rumah udah mai masuk kreta baru. Apuu..malam pun nyau enda entu ka tinduk, kerja ka bemain aja.

Sebedau pulai sempat gak kami nemuai ngagai aki & ini aku di Simunjan. Udah nyau ka 5 taun aku enda betemu ngau aki. On 1st Gawai kami menyadik enggau pasangan masing-masing mupuk ke Simunjan. Happy mai tudah seduai meda bala kami semua datai enggau bala icit seduai.

Well, cuti kali tuk have lots of meaning to me. Aku sempat join School Reunion SMTM Matang. Udah 13 taun lebih enda betemu, sekali betemu kerja ngakak-ngakak ketawa nundi pangan diri.

Hari ini kayaknya mo nge-blog aja. Udah lama di tinggalin, now is the time to write again. Semua orang pasti punya suatu hal baik itu yang baik atau yang buruk, yang pasti itu adalah bahagian dari kehidupan. Hidup ini harus selalu sadar bahwa hari-hari itu harus kita jalani terus, sampai suatu waktu nafas berhenti. Hari ini yang kita hidupi adalah satu tingkat tangga kepada hari besok. Now a day, i realize that i've dream a lots, kayaknya harus cepat sadar deh. Waktu aku lihat ke belakang, what i've done! Apakah itu cukup berarti ato sekedar cukup demi menjalani hari yang harus dijalani.

Well, someone ask me..who can make you happy? Aku terpaku..emmm, mau jawab anakku, terkadang my boys annoy me, mau bilang suamiku, kayaknya dia belum cukup memberikan kebahgiaan buat aku. Yang bisa buat aku bahagia adalah aku sendiri! Orang bilang hanya Tuhan yang bisa membuat bahagia. Yah! kalo pribadi seseorang itu sendiri menolak kehadiran Tuhan dalam hidupnya, sama juga.

Hidup ini banyak yang munafik. Tapi Tuhan melihat jauh kedalaman hati, itulah yang harus selalu dipegang. AKu selalu mengajar diri untuk jujur dengan diri, jujur dengan bicara kerna apa yang kita tabur, selalunya akan kita tuai.

I have a friend, dia adalah teman dekat yang udah lama kukenali. Aku mengasihi dia sepertinya dia udah menjadi suatu bagian dalam hatiku yang ngak bisa aku hilangkan. Kita terikat erat dengan suatu ikatan yang aku nggak bisa jelasin. Mungkin karna doa ya...susah senang kita selalu bersama. Sepertinya dia udah mengenal aku dengan baik sekali kan? Tapi ngak, yang paling mengenal aku adalah aku dan DIA yang menciptakan aku. Bukan teman baikku sekalipun, bahkan bukan ibu yang melahirkan aku.

Menjadi pribadi itu nggak gampang. Yang penting jangan ego kali ya.

Its been a long time i didn't write any post here. Lot of things happen but it just hard to pour the story into writing, maybe i'm not writer's type of person. Well, its almost 3 years i stayed in Indonesia. I wish to go to more places in Indonesia. I've learned many things here the living, foods, culture and many more, some amazed me and of course, some i dislike. Indonesia have a beautiful land that should be preserve.

Dengan semangat dan keberadaannya yang lantang Luther dengan dibantu oleh beberapa rekan kerjanya mendongkrak terus kepercayaan atas kebenaran yang ia pegang.1 Dengan rasa kekurangan dalam diri akan iman dan rasa takut serta cinta yang amat besar akan Allah, Luther menggali dan mencari kebenaran tentang Allah dengan segenap hati. Tidak pernah terbayang apa yang berada dihadapannya. Mungkin saat itu juga Luther tidak pernah menyangka namanya akan dikenang dari zaman ke zaman oleh karena keberaniannya mengungkapkan kebenaran yang ia yakini.Yakni, merubah sejarah dan memberi dampak kepada iman Kristen, pola berfikir serta menjadi suatu titik perkembangan doktrinal gereja terbesar.2 Dalam buku “The Moody Handbook Of Theology” Paul Enns menulis:

New year just in the corner. Feels like a year passed by a blinking of eyes. A lots of thing happen within this blessed year...happy, sad, joy. My baby, he can walks by himself by now. He can understand certain words we say, he was the biggest blessing for me and my hubby's life.

I admit, i was exhausted by working, studying and taking care of my family at the same time..but, through all of that i know and i understand....actually i have a complete life..what more can i ask from God?I have a cute charming son, i have a kind husband, i have great job and i upgrade myself by studying. Such a grace from God.

Its feel like 1 year or what i didn't up date my blog..hows everyone?. I have no idea of what i'm going to write now. Perhaps a bit of update news of what is happening around me.

1. My baby has turn 1 year on 5th October. Now, he can walks 6-7 steps..i'm waiting for the latest progress today. He like to plays with empty coca-cola bottles..can somebody tell me, is that alright? He like to see insects and very kind with animals..i hope so. This morning, he was so happy when he saw a frog in front of our house.

2. Raining almost everyday in Tanjungpinang. Tapi yang ngelu pala..selalu gak black-out..i just don't understand in the year of millennium..agik black-out ..

3. Theology- really give headache but make my knowledges richer.

4. Stitch- remember on my previous post, i write about my new hobby, i almost done with one big project..Name of the Lord.."Panggilan-panggilan nama Yesus".

On the 9th, last July, we were celebrating "an evening with Yayasan Pintu Gerbang Kasih". It was a simple ceremony and the main purpose was to give an appreciation to all the student that is under our "scholarship program". And it was my first time to manage this kind of ceremony but it is a honor to me. Truly, all the while when i was thinking of the program for the day, it was tiring. But at the moment i saw those students went to the stage to get their reward i feel very satisfy. The scholarship maybe not much but i believe it help the students a bit. It is true when people said " We will feel more satisfy in giving hand for someone in-need rather than getting richer"...what do you think?

Pengeboman terbaru yang terjadi di Jakarta memang mengegarkan seluruh Indonesia. Pemgeboman ini yang terjadi serentak di 2 hotel 5 bintang itu membuahkan berbagai rasa di semua golongan rakyat Indonesia. Termasuk aku yang tinggal udah hampir 2 tahun di Indonesia. I am pure Malaysian and i love Malaysia...and i love Indonesia too. AKu juga merasakan betapa hancur hati rakyat Indonesia melihat kejadian ini...di tengah-tengah kebahagian menyambut team MU yang bakal beraksi di gelanggang Bung Karno. My heart was broke when i saw Mr. President talk to the media this morning, i can feel his sadness and disappointments. Indonesia udah mau melangkah setapak demi setapak menuju kemajuan setara dengan negara yang membangun lainnya.

Tapi pertanyaannya..kok ada orang kayak gini yang suka akan kehancuran. What was in their mind?

The truth is..dunia ini nggak akan semakin membaik. Hari-hari semakin sulit, semakin pintarnya manusia, semakin hancurnya bumi. Orang udah lupa akan Tuhan, udah lupa akan kemanusiaan. Well...bagi kita yang mengerti..yuk! kita cuba lakukan yang lebih baik setiap hari, lakukan yang benar pada zaman kita. Untuk bangsa kita, untuk anak-anak kita, supaya satu hari nanti...generasi kita tidak nggak akan menyalahkan kita yang hidup pada hari ini. Lastly..Takut akan Tuhan itu adalah permulaan dari kegala kepintaran. God Bless.

MANOHARA..MY OPINION

Lets try my Indonesian language. Rasanya semua udah tau critanya si cantik Manohara. She young, beautiful, very gentle and kind. Banyak temen2 disini yang nanya gimana reaksiku sebagai rakyat Malaysia yang tinggal di Indonesia terhadap kasus-kasus kayak gini, yang melibatkan dua negara. Nggak tau ya kalu di Malaysia berita Manohara ini gmana, kalu di Indonesia sendiri, you can hear about her almost everyday in every local TV station.

Kalau menurut aku, satu sisi aku sih kagum dengan Manohara, she pretty, young dan cara dia ngomong itu santun sekali orangnya. Untuk memberi komentar soal dia dianiaya oleh suaminya, Tengku Temenggong Kelantan,Tengku Muhammad Fakhry Petra , aku sih peribadi nggak bisa nebak siapa yang benar dan salah. Yang pasti, di atas manusia itu ada Tuhan. Dan ada undang-undang yang bisa membantu memperjuangkan hak-hak kita andainya kita teraniaya. As a Malaysian, aku nggak support Tengku kalu emank dia bersalah, tapi aku juga nggak support Manohara kerna setiap apa yang Mano perkatakan harus ada buktinya. Nggak ada manusia di dunia ini layak mendapat penganiyaan. Dan kita punya hukum yang bisa kita percaya. Biarlah hukum itu bergerak, segala sesuatu pasti ada waktunya toh. Yang kesalnya, kadang-kadang kes kayak gini bikin orang tuh jadi obsesi, sampe anti negara itu dan negara ini...sebenarnya nggak perlu kayak gitu. Setiap hal itu ada pro dan kontranya..secara peribadi aku jadi sedih waktu ngeliat ada berita TKI (Tenaga Kerja Indonesia) yang di siksa ama majikan di Malaysia, ya sadis lah, kok ada orang yang nggak punya kemanusiaan, geram juga sih sebagai rakyat Malaysia kepada rakyat Malaysia yang perilakunya begitu, tapi di satu sisi, aku sedih juga bila dengar dan liat berita soal ada rakyat Indonesia yang melakukan jenayah di Malaysia, suatu waktu dulu ada kejadian Ibu rumah tangga yang dibunuh oleh TKI di Kuala Lumpur.

Nah! begitu juga soal Manohara ini. Dalam hati sih sedih kerna baca komentar-komentar dari Indonesian dan Malaysian, ada yang berantem, ada yang saling tuduh bangsa yang mana nggak bagus, actually kita nggak perlu kayak gitu, Indonesia, Malaysia dan Singapore itu masih satu rumpun, di bilang Malaysia ini nggak bagus, toh masih ada rakyat Indonesia yang bekerja cari nafkah dan hidupnya baik-baik aja di Malaysia, dibilang Indonesia nggak bagus, rame juga Malaysian yang tinggal di Indonesia dan hidupnya baik-baik juga. Well it all about how we handle our opinion, nggak ada yang sempurna di dunia ini di mata manusia, itupun oleh kerna hasil tangan manusia juga. Dunia ini gedik dan luas sekali, di luar sana ada banyak lagi bahasa, budaya, dan bangsa. Kalu punya peluang, jelajahlah ke luar dari negara kita sendiri, bergaulah dengan bangsa-bangsa yang berbeda dari bangsa kita, pasti persepsi kita terhadap satu-satu bangsa berubah, begitu juga cara kita menilai. Satu hal lagi, cara kita menilai apa yang kita dengar dan lihat dari media itu sangat penting kerna media itu besar pengaruhnya. Manusia itu mudah terpicu emosi, kalu yang didengarnya buruk dan jelek terus, maka buruklah kejadiannya biarpun dia nggak ada ditempat kejadiannya, cuma nebak-nebak dan emosi doank.

Aku percaya sekali kuasa hukum itu pasti bisa berjalan dengan benar, baik Manohara ataupun Tengku, sebagai orang yang hanya mendengar, melihat dan menbaca berita, aku tetap ikut perkembangan kes mereka, cuma dalam hati tetap berdoa, biarlah terungkap kebenarannya. Kalu bener Manohara teraniaya, biarlah dia dibela selayaknya. Yang tau kebenarannya hanya Tengku , Manohara dan Tuhan. Dan manusia pada akhirnya diadili oleh Tuhan sendiri menurut perlakuannya selama dia hidup. Well..itu aja deh.

yes!! my new hobby was doing a stitching. I find it was interesting to do. Especially when i get my cross stitch done. Yeah!!! feel so happy, currently i finished two simple project, will upload my stitch here later. Well anyway, stitching really require my patient which is hard to train myself into it. After all, i am a working mother. Again, for all the stitcher out there, i'm a new fellow in the club.

Parents of baby who starved refuse autopsy

MIRI: The parents of a baby boy who starved to death have refused to allow a post-mortem to be carried out.

They claimed the body from the Miri Hospital’s mortuary yesterday, after an initial police probe determined that the baby did not die of any physical abuse and there was no criminal intent on the couple’s part.

However, Miri police chief Asst Comm Jamaluddin Ibrahim said police were keeping the investigation file open.

“We have not decided whether to press charges against the couple,” ACP Jamaluddin said.

The baby boy, who was less than a month old, starved to death after the couple forgot to feed him, following a drinking spree over a few days. The incident was uncovered by the hospital on Thursday after the baby died in the intensive care unit.

A Very Faithful Woman

An elderly lady was well-known for her faith and for her boldness in talking about it. She would stand on her front porch and shout "PRAISE THE LORD!"

Next door to her lived an atheist who would get so angry at her proclamations he would shout, "There ain't no Lord!!"

Hard times set in on the elderly lady, and she prayed for GOD to send her some assistance. She stood on her porch and shouted "PRAISE THE LORD. GOD I NEED FOOD!! I AM HAVING A HARD TIME. PLEASE LORD, SEND ME SOME GROCERIES!!"

The next morning the lady went out on her porch and noted a large bag of groceries and shouted, "PRAISE THE LORD."

The neighbor jumped from behind a bush and said, "Aha! I told you there was no Lord. I bought those groceries, God didn't."

The lady started jumping up and down and clapping her hands and said, "PRAISE THE LORD. He not only sent me groceries, but He made the devil pay for them. Praise the Lord!"

Well, Jakarta was a big metropolis city. My first impression about Jakarta was, busy, hot and crowded and not forgetting....traffic jam here and there. Before went to Jakarta, we were staying at Agape Resident, about 2+ hours from main city. After that, we spend rest of our holiday at my sister's in law place. Which is located in Lippo Cikarang, 1 1/2 hours from Jakarta. Lippo Cikarang was well planned and clean city, and have lots of Japanese & Korean restaurant. My husband said that is because there was many Japanese and Korean living in Lippo Cikarang. What else i want to say.....just let the pictures talk.

I have been listening to song by Faizal Tahir "Cuba" over and over again. I just love the music..and i watch his performance at Anugerah Juara Lagu in Youtube, Faizal did the performance very well. Listening to "Cuba" remind me to the old memory when alternative rock kinda music was my favorite. I'm a big fan of Silverchair, i love Blur, Smashing Pumpkin, Oasis and i am also a big fan of OAG..but the old OAG before they split..ah! not forgetting..Butterfinger and Nice Stupid Playground. I still have my CD and cassette (last time only can afford to buy cassette..student mah!) collection for all this group.

It make me laugh when i remembered that last time i always spend my time to watch gig which held around Kuching. And also one thing i remember most..i love comic! i love Dragon Ball and my collection of Dragon Ball's comic was from chapter one until the end. If you ask me about the story of Son Goku and his friend..100% i can answer. Hahaha..now i'm a mother and hopefully i won't tell the story of Son Goku as the bedtime story.

This is my second part documentary about Tanjung Pinang..cewah! Tanjung Pinang was a small town located in the largest of Indonesia's enchanting Riau islands in the South China Sea. If you want to get here, you only have 2 choices, whether by plane or ferry. If you choose to use ferry, it will be about 2 hours 45 minutes from Johor and 2 hours 30 minutes from Singapore, other than ferry and plane, you can swim here if you are brave and strong enough. For me, honestly, the town was kinda boring town because there is no shopping mall and cold storage..i love to go to the cold storage.

But, this small island have its own beauty, the resort and its beautiful beaches about 1 1/2 hour from town names Bintan Resorts. There you can experience endless beaches, a wide variety of international-class resorts or especially for those who want to relax them self, you can try the spa..trust me, it was worth and it was about 7 spa and 9 different resorts and hotel for you to choose, from moderate to the luxury. If you come to Tanjungpinang, i also recommend you to try the massage. Don't worry, there is a place that i regularly went to, free and clean from any sort of what we call "extra++". Today, nothing special happen besides dealing with "pot pet" colleagues. Huh! i almost "hilang sabar" when facing people that always put in their mind "I HOLD THE MOST IMPORTANT JOB HERE..AND I'M THE MOST BUSY HERE". Gosh! why can't some people face the fact that WE ARE HIRED HERE AND WE ARE PAID TO DO JOB EVENTHOUGH IT WAS LOADED OR SOMETHING WE HATE TO DO! Pedis ati jak...if the Boss asked us to do some work..what can we do??? Boss is Boss mah..

Okay..back to normal blood pressure. Good news! next week i will be away from Tanjung Pinang. On 23rd, three of us will spend a week in Jakarta. Hubby will have meeting in Puncak, Bogor one of the mountain resort in Indonesia. About 2 hours driving from Jakarta. On 27th we plan to visit sister-in-law at Bekasi. Well hopefully our trip will bring lots of memory and i promise to take photos for my dear readers.

Jerusalem is the heart and soul of the Land of Israel. In celebration of Jerusalem Day, her cherished history, based on ancient Jewish sources, is retold.

Israel is presently involved in a bitter war. A strange war, an undeclared war, a war with no name. A confusing war in which we constantly explain our position and consistently contradict ourselves. A war in which even the Israeli government finds it difficult to speak with a clear voice. Why? Because it is impolitic to say that we are fighting a religious war, or that the Land of Israel belongs to the People of Israel. And so we fight bereft of our voice. Kol Yaakov -- the Voice of Jacob -- our greatest strength and most potent ammunition, is silenced by external world pressure and by our own internal confusion.

The Middle East, being what it is, is volatile. In the two weeks between writing these lines and the time they are read, the written words may very well become obsolete. Nonetheless, there are certain eternal truths and entities which endure. Torah is one; the Jewish people are another; Jerusalem and the Land of Israel are a third. Together, they form a divine mandate, an irrevocable, indestructible, eternal unit.

The Arabs have chosen to call the present war "Intifada El Aksa" (El Aksa is one of two mosques which were built on the Temple Mount). Although the name supposedly resulted from Mr. Sharon's visit to the Temple Mount, it inadvertently expresses the true essence of the present war. It is indeed a war for "El Aksa" -- for the Temple Mount and for Jerusalem, and by extension, for all the Land of Israel. For Jerusalem is the heart and soul of the Land of Israel.

Here, then, is the story of Jerusalem, based on ancient Jewish sources and cherised through four thousand years of Jewish history.

In the beginning of time, long ago, before the earth and the heavens existed, before there was anything at all, God set about creating a world. He chose a point in the nothingness of space and began.

God made light and darkness, heaven and earth, suns, moons, stars, oceans, rivers, lakes. He formed mountains, plains, deserts and jungles with flowers and trees, grasses and grains; tiny, crawling creatures, birds, fish and animals in all sizes, colors and shapes. Creatures beyond number and imagination. And finally he created the two most important entities in the entire universe -- Adam and Eve.

God looked at His world and proclaimed that it was a good world, even though He knew that that there would be problems and people would not always do the right thing. After all, didn't God Himself give people the right to choose between good and evil? If they chose well and tried to do God's Will, they could continue to build and create a good and loving world and they would be rewarded. If they chose to ignore or disobey, the world would suffer and they would be punished. It was up to them.

God gave Adam and Eve the tools they needed to do their work -- minds to think and understand, and laws to teach them the difference between good and evil. He divided the world into seventy nations, each with a land of its own, and He gave them the Seven Noahide Commandments so they would know how to live. But it was hard for the people to keep even seven commandments, so God chose one nation -- the Children of Israel -- to keep the light of holiness alive in the world. He gave them His Torah with its 613 commandments, and He gave them the Land of Israel as an eternal inheritance.

Israel was God's own, special, holy Land. As long as the Jews kept God's Torah, God would watch the Land and protect the people forever. If ever they needed help, God promised that He would always be there, always watching, always ready to come to their aid.
He commanded the people to build him a Beit Hamikdash -- a House of God. Even though God does not live in a house, His Divine Spirit would always be in this one particular place. His house was to be built on the very spot where the Creation of the world had begun. It was the center of the world -- the Land of Israel. It was in the center of Israel, in the Holy City Jerusalem. And it was in the very center of Jerusalem, on Har Habayit -- the Temple Mount. Of course there's no way we can measure the universe to see where the exact center is, but the Torah tells us that in some mystical way that our physical senses are unable to fathom, Har Habayit is the very heart of the world, the point where God first began th work of Creation.

In olden times, people knew this was not just another mountain top. They knew it was a holy place, connected to other dimensions, fused with the Spirit of God. Adam, the first man, brought an offering to God on this mountain. After the Great Flood, Noah brought a thanksgiving offering to the same spot. And it was here that Abraham brought his son Isaac as an offering, believing this was God's will. These things all happened long before the city of Jerusalem and the Temple were built, but they happened here, on Har Hamoriya, Mount Moriah, on Har Habayit, the Temple Mount.From the moment King David built the city, Jerusalem was recognized as a place of worldwide importance. David made the arrangements and preparations to build the Temple, but it was his son Solomon who did the actual work. Cedar trees and olive wood, costly stones, brass and gold and silver were brought from countries far and near to build God's House.

When the work was finally finished, Solomon made a huge celebration. Multitudes of people came to Jerusalem to dedicate the Temple with prayers and sacrifices. The Aron HaKodesh -- the Holy Ark -- was placed in the Beit Hamikdash. This was the very same Ark which held the two stone Tablets, carved with the Ten Commandments. For forty years, the Jewish people had carried the Ark with them throughout their travels in the desert; when they entered the Land it was kept in various temporary places. Now, finally, it was placed in the Beit Hamikdash.

"Behold," said Solomon, "if all the heavens and earth cannot contain Glory of God, how can this house contain Thee?" But the Clouds of Glory filled the Temple as a sign that the Shechina, the Spirit of God, was indeed there.

The Beit Hamikdkash was like a window or a door to Heaven, a gateway where prayers would ascend directly to God. Not only would the prayers of the Jewish people be heard, but all people could come to the Temple to pray and all of God's blessings to the world would somehow flow from the Heavens above to the Earth below through this one, blessed spot where Creation had begun. From every country, people came to the Beit Hamikdash and Jerusalem became a Holy City for the entire world.

Solomon's Beit Hamikdash stood for 410 years. It was destroyed by the Babylonians in 423 BCE, 2425 years ago. Seventy years later, the Jews rebuilt the Temple. The Second Temple stood for 420 years; it was destroyed by the Romans in the year 68 CE. For the past 1934 years, Jews continued to live in Jerusalem, but always under foreign rule. Since then, we have directed our prayers to the Western Wall -- the Kotel Hamaaravi -- the one remaining wall which stood around the Temple Mount.

Thirty five years ago, on the 28th day of the month of Iyar, in the year 5727 (June 5, 1967), on the third day of the Six Day War, the ancient city of Jerusalem -- the walled Old City, the Temple Mount and the Western Wall -- returned to Jewish hands. For the first time since the Destruction of the Second Temple, Jerusalem was under Jewish sovereignty.

The ancient city of Jerusalem grew around the Temple. The modern city of Jerusalem continues to grow and expand far beyond the old walls, full of children and playgrounds, humming with traffic, brimming with synagogues, schools, stores, indusrial centers, museums, offices, and government buildings. It is still surrounded by round hills, clothed in bright white morning light or rosy, golden afternoon rays. It still sits like a crown atop the Judean Mountains, calling to the Children of Israel... "Bo'ee Kallah, Come my Bride, back home to your Land, your Holy City, the House of God."

The Third Temple has not yet been built, but when it is, the rabbis say it will never be destroyed. Meanwhile, Jerusalem is still the Gateway to Heaven, the place to stand before God, open your heart and offer up your prayers, even today.

Oh ya..instead i have one in mind. Recently i read a lots about first food for baby. And last saturday me and hubby decided to make one big move..start to feed our baby. I make some research in internet on the best started food for baby. But for the start, we plan to give him fruit. I think all parent out there was feeling the same with us..feel a bit scared, exited and all kind of feeling. First fruit for my baby was AVOCADO. I mixed it with his milk and he like it! Thanks God there is nothing to worry about. MY BABY WAS ABOUT TO START EATING! I was so exiting. I know the trouble to come when he know how to run here and there and started to recognize food. Well..if anyone wants to share about "starting food for babies", you comments are most welcome.

Honestly, i like raining day..but dislike if rain everyday. Here in Tanjungpinang, some ferry was stop from going out to another island. The wave sometimes can raised until 5.5m. Fuh! luckily i have my visa..so i don't have to return to Malaysia for this moment. One thing i make me always hairan with this beautiful country. This month, in separate place in Indonesia, we will hear about "sinking ship" almost everyday. Why? because the ferry/ship was packed with people and always try to bring "lebih muatan"..not barang but "people". Haiyo..what was they thinking..does human's life means nothing rather than cash.

Sometimes, you can see some funny thing while you were driving right? But never in my life seeing someone using motorcycle brought with him a two door refrigerator. God! I'm still waiting to see someone brought a cow using a motorcycle. Hahaha..well, i try to take the best shot of Tanjungpinang for you all to see..this is the beginning..

Umbas iya sibuk kerja lepas taun baru tuk. Sari tuk agik nganti ka meeting pukul 1.30 lagi. Agik prepare mimit kena meeting, takut lagi kena serang, bingung enda nemu nyaut apa. Manah prepare awal. Lemai kemari, bisi indai urang datai ke ofis betemu enggau aku. Laban aku bahagian ke ngambi anak angkat yang di tulung duit sekula sidak. Nyau berandau-berandau, dia indai urang nya madah ka iya ka minta nyambung biasiswa anak iya. Aku madah ulih, asal nitih prosedur Yayasan. Udah tembu, dia iya nanya, ulih enda nulung siko agik anak iya? Kasih gak ati aku, tapi udah prosedur kami, enda ngambi dua anak dalam siti keluarga laban yang sponsor sidak agik terhad. Ditu, mayuh ndar anak enda sekula, kesedaran penting besekulanya bedau tembus di pemikir sidak iya. Kekadang enti kitai ngagai rumah sidak iya, kasih kitai. Ka ngambi siko anak aja, enda kempang, baka keluarga ke bisi mayuh anak udah nya pengidup tusah. Anak mit, nama temu sidak iya, udah besai baru pelik-pelik mata nyesal. Sari tuk tang asai ka blog ngena jaku iban. Lelengau ke bala kaban ke jauh. Malam 31st, di rumah aja aku enggau baby..hubby pegi church bisi midnight prayer. Ka ati enggau hubby tapi ngenang baby, kasih meda iya di bai malam-malam. Bendar babyku tindok....urang main mercun depan rumah pun iya enda peduli. Udah pukul 1.30 baru hubby pulai ari church, bisi gak mai bbq mimit kena late supper. Teringat ke maya agik bedau belaki suba. Enda gak aku entu keluar-keluar maya rami. Maya agik study ten years ago, nyau ulih ngerak ari tindok aku maya urang nyambut taun baru. Bendar mak aku ngerak, ngirup ai pengayu ko urang, udah nya di suruh mandi muai hal ke enda manah. Enda berasai taun beganti. Taun tuk aku jaga baby tindok di rumah, mungkin taun depan bendar begagai ke iya ka main mercun. Hehehe...Slamat Taun Baru!

This will be my second year celebrating Christmas in Indonesia. Well, miss home very much. Ms. Kong Yi Ling

We were from the same technical school, S.M Teknik Matang in 1996-1997. During that time we were not so close, she was in Civil Engineering course while i was in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. What i remember most about her was, She was one of the best runner at school...see her leg mah! very the panjang! I never saw her again for quite a long time..i think almost about 9 years. We meet again when i changed to new job. She was my colleague at Multi Resources. Once we became a good friend..i really like her. Her outside personality shows that she was stubborn and tough. But once you know her, she was really kind and very soft at heart, she will not show that she was sad, very diam-diam type and she is very royal . Not only she is pretty but her heart also does. I was very happy to be her friend..i miss having lunch with her and gossiping. Hahaha! My prayer will always be with her...for her dream may come true. May our friendship last forever! FRIEND FOREVER!

Mr. Alvin Lim

I know him for almost 11 years. He was my ex-lecturer at college. For me, he was the best lecturer ever. He always want his student to gain the best mark and he will teach us until we fully understand. During college time, i was not really close to him but after he went to Japan to further his study, we began to emailed each other to share experiences and knowledge...our friendship start from there until this day. He was a very good and close friend to me. It was true when people said that, when you were with someone at the most weak and the most happy moment, your friendship will stand tough! What i remembered the most about him was, last time during college when we talk to him..he seem to be lost..hahaha. (Maybe he think so much). He was a very good buddy, really nice guy, very confident with his ambition, parental type and very happy but malu-malu person. I was very happy that he reach his dream now..go on and enjoy your happy life! The Lord will always be with you and your wonderful family. His love will surround you forever.

I don't have her photo with me now..all left at Kuching. She was my very best friend since form 4, it was in 1996 until today. She was like a sister to me. We go through happy and sad moment. I cannot write much about her because there was so much to tell. All i can say was, wherever i go, she will always be my friend. Oh ya! most people scared of her..hehehe..she was very open minded, she talk her mind and speak the truth. Thats what i like about her.

Ms. Christina Guyang

How we meet was a long story. She was my ex-boss now become my sister-like-friend..she more like a sister to me. Sometimes, i forgot that we actually don't have family connection. When people ask about her, who she was, i will answer that she was my cousin, not a friend. She teach me a lots about life, since i was a single lady until now, i become a mother..she never stop to teach me. I agree when sometimes a friend was closer than a family member. What i really like about her was how she live her life with full of confident, she was gorgeous, look at her pictures..she was 30+ years old, she have 5 sons, the eldest was 15 years old and younger was 1+ years. She is very "rajin macam semut", very friendly and funny. One thing that is special about her was, she was very kind at heart, trust me, people can be close with her in a day. I always thank God that Christina was my friend, i never realize that i don't have older sister in my real family because i have her.

At hospital.....

What a sad day..my little boy was having a diarrhea and he was so weak. He was admit to hospital on 12th December and i was with him at all time. I cried when nurse inject him at feet for water infuse. His feet was so tiny for the needle. My God! if only i can change his pain to mine. One thing i adore my little boy so much, he was so strong until no one know that he was in pain. He don't cry much. Thanks God, after the third day, the doctor said that he can go home! E.j..mummy love you so much!

Ditu aku upload some pictures maya di KL last two weeks. Bisi bad eperience aku di KL. Enti aku ingat ke nya, sinu gak atiku. Kami and team diau ba Corus Hotel, sema KLCC, as i said in my last blog, about 5 minutes walking from Corus Hotel. Bad experience aku di KL ialah maya ngena public tranport. Hari kedua kami di KL, aku n hubby bisi ngena bas, ari Jalan Hang Lekiu sampai Corus Hotel, enda jauh, 10 minit ajak. Udah lama enda ngena bas jalai-jalai ngambi angin, kan bulan puasa, jadi urang agak kurang. Maya nya nyau ka ringat gak aku, driver bas mai bas nya nyau baka urang ke mai bini iya ka branak ke spital. Udahlah laju, suka-suka iya ajak belok n motong kin kitu, udahlah aku mai perut besai, maya iya belok asai ka tanggal perut aku,. Alamak! geramnyerr..
But i keep in my heart aja. Lord, forgive him! Lemai ari ketiga kami duai hubby ngena bas agik, laban tetemu ke bas dulu ari teksi. Again, ari jalai Hang Lekiu, (bisi kawan diau diak, jadi pulai jalai ari tempat iya), but this time bisi kawan enggau kami, one of our team but she work and stay di KL. Iya duduk di depan kami. Maya ka mayar tiket, penjual tiket nya nanya, ka kini? Kawan kami nya pun nyaut lah, Corus Hotel. Mungkin penjual tiketnya pekak kali, besai gak suara iya nganu kawan kami nya, he said.."jawablah! diam-diam je, bodoh ke?"... langsung niki darahku. Walaupun ukai aku ke kena anu, tapi as a malaysian, i am so sad with that situation. Enda iya nemu urang ke di anu iya nya graduate ari oversea.. tapi kawan kami nya just diau aja, enggai layan. Tapi aku ke ka ringat, malu gak meda urang menua diri macam nya. Aku dah mucau-mucau, udah ka aku kangau n ka ku anu urang nya, tapi hubby madah,"its okay dear.. don't say bad things to him, just speak blessing, when we speak bad thing, he will become worst, but when we speak blessing, the bad turn to good"..amai gak fikirku. And know what, dua-dua bas yang kami kena nya Metro Bas. Forget about that matter, lets enjoy the photos. Oh ya! aku nadai ngambik gambar maya ke Singapore ari nya, lupa aku laban segaut ke meeting hubby.

CHECK UP TIME

While waiting for my turn at Klinik Kesihatan Larkin. I spend almost 2 hours with hubby for my pregnancy check-up. I like the staffs, they are all friendly although it was bulan puasa. Thanks God, Klinik Kesihatan Larkin located just about 10 minutes walking from our apartment. So, early morning, i can do little exercise. When come to the check-up room, guess what i get? 1 injection at my shoulder, 1 injection in my finger to get my blood sampel, 1 injection at my left hand to get my blood sampel again, but it was failed because the nurse said that my nerve was so small and she try my right hand, at last she succeed, and get 10ml of blood. Wuahahahahah!!!!!! To become a mother, we have to sacrifice a lots...trust me. I hate needle but when come to this kind of situation, what else can i do? Aku berserah!!!! And after that, balas dendam lah! Yummy!

Hmm...i have no idea what to write in my blog. This day, i was preparing myself physcally and mentally to step into the new life. Today, i am counting my day. Could it be tomorrow, next three days or in two week, i just can't wait! Yesterday, me and hubby spent almost four hours at Jusco's Baby Store. I guest we get all things done. Today, i can't feel my right fingers, it was numb. Hopefully it was normal for pregnant woman. Every evening, my hubby and me will take a walk around the apartment where we stayed. Walking is a good exercise for pregnant woman. What else i want to say?..hmmm..until next time..i don't have any idea of what to write now.

BACK TO MALAYSIA

At last! I'm back to my beloved country and now i will enjoy my rest time. After traveled here and there, now is the time for me to stay st home and rest while waiting for the day..dig..dag..dig..dag. This week was an exhausting week for me, at last, my hubby allowed me to follow him to KL. Last monday, we take ferry from Tanjung Pinang and arrived at Stulang Laut, Johor at 11.30 am. After lunch, we take a bus to KL. It takes almost 4 hours before we reach Puduraya. Next day, my hubby went to the meeting at Corus hotel, 5 minutes walking from KLCC. And what did i do? i went to KLCC shopping..until my leg sakit! 4 days in KL, was quite boring for me, maybe because i cannot walk too much. I have to take care for my health. Friday evening we leaved KL and straight away went to Singapore because mu hubby have a a meeting at 10.00 am, huh! lelak mat...at 7 the meeting end and we went back to Johor where our holiday begin...and tonight, i will have a massage session...hehehe

Tengahari tok tang tetenguk ka makai KFC. Tapi, KFC dituk enda sama enggau KFC di tempat lain, di Malaysia enggau Singapore nyau ka sama, asai pun sama. Tapi di Indo, jauh mai asai iya lari. But, tenguk punya pasal, hubby mai ke KFC mamam...udahnya harga iya RM3-4 ringgit lebih mahal ari KFC di Malaysia. Enti harga ba Malaysia RM 7.00 udah ulih 2 manuk goreng, kentang putar, salad, ai enggau bun kan? Enti di indo, RM 12 baru jak bulih dua ayam goreng, nasi n ai aja.

This will be my most busy week. I have to get all jobs done before going back to Malaysia. My hubby will go to Kuala Lumpur for almost one week next monday because of work. I wish i can follow him. (^o^). Last sunday i met my boss and guess what he say?..Lis, next monday you can take your leave instead of 18th, so you can go with you hubby to Malaysia. Huuuhuhuhu...horeyyyyyy....but i have to rush and finish my work at the office. Now, new matter was, my hubby asked me to stay at Johor because if i follow him to KL, it will exhausting me. I say.."Hubby, i want to followlah". He just smile..i know what he mean. Hiyooooo!!!

Guys! i will going back to Malaysia, tanah airku next monday.

TRIP TO BRAKIT, PULAU BINTAN

On friday, we have an appointment with Kepala Desa at Desa Brakit, which was about 1.5 hours from my office. We make a surveyed to Desa Brakit last month and we found that there was a lots of parent that cannot afford to send their children to school. And our mission is to support the parent financially by giving a scholarship to their children so that they can continue their study. Most of the parents work as a fisherman with small income. They just depend on their small "sampan". I was driving for us from Tanjung Pinang to Brakit. All the way, we were entertained by the beauty of the beach. I was quite tired, but when i think about some people out there that need our help, it gives me courage. I pray that when my son grow up, he will be someone that can help many people in need.

At Desa Brakit, we met with 20 students that was entitled for our scholarship. I was so satisfied to saw their happy face when we told them that we will help them to study. I believe all my team was feel the same. I ever worked with a big and international company, but i never felt the happiness and satisfied as i feel now.

After all done, that was the time for us to have fun. We went to our friend's new bought beach. One of our friend just bought a land with beach which was about 45 minutes from Tanjung Pinang. My friend was plan to develop that land to become a family friendly beach. I found that land was exotic because of the small island near to that beach and we can just swim there because the water is not deep and that island was included in my friend's land. If i tell you how much they bought the land, you won't believe me..it was soooooooo cheap.. but sorry i can't tell the amount.I upload some photos for you to enjoy.

Yesterday i was chatting with my old friend, Jennica. It was funny when we talk about the past. One thing that make me laugh was when she ask.."how did you found Kathy". Actually before i meet them again in blog, there is a story besides.

Last two months, i was really wanted to eat "Bak Kut Teh", nyera, kok urang iban. During my tea time , i surfed the internet looking for "resepi bak kut teh" through the google search. Then there was this blog that have "bak kut teh" words. Happy-happy tek, aku bukalah that blog. Know who's blog i found first?...that was cokelatrawkz.blogspot.com.But what catch my attention was, she was using bahasa Iban in her blog. Nyau rindu aku ke jako iban...i always surfed blog with bahasa iban but i found her blog was interesting because at first when we opened her blog, bisi mata nyeling kitai..hahaha.. Dipendekkan cerita, i surfed the other blog that linked to her blog, that is where i found Jenn's blog. I surely remember Jennica, she was not much changed, agik lawa baka suba, cuma tembam mimit..hahaha..(anang ringat auk sis Jen, i still remember that you were very sensitive with the words "tembam") laban sis Jen tok suka jaga penampilan iya kemas n pretty ari suba and because she was quite close to me while we were at the same school and go to the same church..nyak pun nyau ka tiap minggu ke bilik aku mai aku pegi church...selalu aku belalai ari bala sida Jen maya udah ari sabtu..lembau mai pegi church suba. But because of their faith, i grow with a belief.

STRETCH MARK!!!!

A lots of pregnant woman will face this problem. The stretch mark will leave an ugly mark on tummy after give birth. I really thankful that i don't have this problem, hopefully this tips will help you because it work for me...

1. I will make sure that i drink at least 1.5 litre water per day. That will hydrate your skin and maintain elasticity. Drink a lots of water will also make your skin glow.

2. Every morning i will rub the moisturizer on my belly, sides and back. For me, i prefer the body cream(Macadamia nut & honeysuckle, i love the smell very much!) and vitamin A from Oriflame. Sometimes i use Zwitsal Baby Oil, i like it because of the less greasy.

3. Last and simple tips, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and make sure you take your vitamin that is given by doctor.

And not forget, enjoy your pregnancy!!!!

Time to get something for my baby...i have no idea of what should i buy. One of my best friend who was not only a friend but a sister to me said "No need to buy so much for newborn, i will buy for you..don't worry..complete! as i am the one who will have a baby". Being able to wear comfortable shoes and no one thinks twice. In pregnancy my feet were swollen and my legs hurt. I wore comfortable shoes and propped my feet up whenever I got a chance.(My opinion: Really true, and nobody care if you wear the shoe that is larger than your feet.)
Two words: multiple ORGASMS! Many women find sex in pregnancy is really great. Though it is not always great for the whole pregnancy. Be kind to yourself.(My opinion: I bet you guys will pop your eyes to read my opinion. Well i will say, wait for your turn lah, you will know yourself)
Being able to take naps without an excuse in the middle of the day. This unfortunately is a benefit of the first pregnancy, because once you have a toddler running around there is no rest for the weary.(My opinion: YES, really agree, but don't take it for granted. For me, my boss was really understand my situation, even though she is not yet married but when i say that i need some rest, she will say: Ya, ndak apa-apa, kamu rehat aja ya dek, hati-hati ya....
Having a big, round belly! Don't forget to take some great photos. Some women choose to take a picture every month wearing the same outfit to get a real picture of the changes.(My opinion: Sure! Sometimes i feel that i want to go to photo studio to get the best photo..hahaha)
Hearing the glorious horse galloping heart beat! Around 12 weeks into the pregnancy your midwife or doctor will help you experience the joys of the first sounds of your baby's heart beat.(My opinion: If it was your first pregnancy, like me, i almost cry for the first time i hear the sound of my baby's heart beat.)
Playing games with the baby, like catch the foot, or kick the daddy. This is a great way to bond with baby before birth.(My opinion: Enjoy your baby's movement, trust me, it not hurt at all, but a bit "geli-geli")
The baby moving and it is your little secret, no one else knows. (My opinion: Huh! sometimes you can see your baby's movement from the belly's skin)
The glow, even on the days you don't feel it. Okay you glow, but hopefully it's the good kind. The majority of women love being pregnant.(My opinion: This was said to me and i'm not making it up; "Kok makin cantik ya kamu...glowing gitu deh". A lot of my friend and also some experience mother said just like that to me...bertambah glowlah aku.)
Knowing that soon you'll have a little one to cuddle and nurse. Nine months seems like a very long time, but before you know it your baby will be here.(My opinion: Enjoy your nine months, because within that time, your baby was still inside you, lepas nine month...struggle lah wai!)

Aku ditu jadi volunteer ba siti Yayasan ke nulung masyarakat di Kepulauan Riau. Udah teleba kerja maya di Malaysia, kitu nyelai asai iya enti jadi "suri rumah" aja. Ari Yayasan tok aku mayuh belajar tentang negara Indo. Kasih mat enti kitai pegi survey ke tempat-tempat yang penduduk iya ulih di kumbai enda mampu. Mayuh anak-anak sidak enda sekula. Bila meda kitai datai gaga mat sidak iya, apa gik enti kitai madah kitai ka nulung sponsor yuran sekula sida.

Kemari maya duduk makai tengahari di luar opis, aku tepeda ke siko indu yang agik biak amai. Pendiau iya baka urang enda mandi seminggu, baju enggau skirt iya nyau chelum. Tang yang nyuruh aku sinu mat, iya gendong baby iya. Kira-kira umur 3-4 bulan sangka ku. Nyau enda selera agik aku makai bai ati sinu. Ngenang ke nasib anak iya. Ditu, enti urang nya miskin, nang miskin enda alang-alang agik. Enti udah kaya, kaya amai-amai. I thank God that i am able to see such thing here, so that i can appreciate my life more...dan bersyukur selalu. Maybe udah anakku besai ila aku ka mai iya pegi jalai-jalai di India. Awak meda bakani pengidup urang ke susah din n belajar menghargai idup tuk lebih agik.

Last time i went Danau Toba i was kinda suprise....Aku fikir yah, paling bisi tasik besai ba atas gunung. It took about 3 hours driving from Kota Medan. Semakin dekat ka datai ba Danau Toba, udara makin chelap..fresh air from mountain. Bila udah datai di kawasan danau, i was very impressed with the beauty of nature. Danau Toba was not only a big lake, but a really huge lake surrounding by mountain. Tang sayau ndar, pas datai diak hujan turun. Gambar di ambik pun enda entu manah.Tang sayau enda ulih lama ba Danau Toba,hubby mayuh kerja but still he try to spend some time to bring me around. One thing that come cross my mind, kecantikan alam enda dijaga enggau manah. Nadai entu mayuh urang kia, hotel pun mayuh kosong. Danau nya besai mat, sejauh mata memandang ko urang. Really cannot see the end. Indonesia mayuh tempat yang cantik-cantik, tapi nadai di manage enggau manah.

My experience:

I read a lot of books and articles after knowing that little angel is growing inside my tummy. And here is my experience...

I read about morning sickness, but i thank God that i don't have any problem with that. It is true that my appetite was totally lost and i just can consume some specific foods. I don't have problem with morning or evening sickness but i hate the smell of paint. The first three months would be a difficult periods for first time mother because of the changes of hormones, new experience, especially when we are far away from our country and at that time we really want to eat our hometown food...huh! As for me, that is the time i spend my time looking for the receipes from internet, first receipes i looked for was KOLO MEE..

Truly to say, i heard so many advises from friend and relatives about what to avoid during pregnancy, what do's and don't, what you can and can't eat. But the best advise is from my doctor. I was told by doctor not to consume durian, grape (in huge amount). The first three month, i only take nasi ayam, fruits, vege, bak kut teh (even my hubby selalu pot pet when i said i want bak kut teh...because of the herbs). I always said to him..a bit bah!

After three month..my appetite was getting okay. Ha! masa itulah harus jaga-jaga..don't be suprise with your appetite..i control myself with getting full with fruit. I can feel my baby moving during the 5th month. How does it feel? I feel like there is a butterfly inside my tummy..flying here and there. And sometimes it feels like little bubble bubbling inside my stomach. At this stage, my weight raised from only 48kg to 58kg. Huhuhu

Now, my infant was 8 months and what i feel was.....I WANT TO SEE MY BABY!!!!!!.. one thing that i learned was, you know yourself when some people said that "you should not do that by now..don't drive! don't do this..don't do that!..hehehe... last three day i was driving from Bintan Resort, about 1 1/2 hours from my place..after begging my husband. In the evening, i will take about 30 minutes walking, swiming when i get chance and do light exercise. I really thank God for my husband..he was really wonderful! His love encourage me...one thing that is also very important during pregnancy was husband's support. Until this day, my husband will give a light massage to ease my backpain..and he does it almost every night..regardless how tired he was. Sometimes, he come home at 10pm from office, after showered and ready for bed..he will ask..cinta, where is the "minyak angin"?, biar sayang urut cinta dulu ya...biar enak bobonya (bobo-sleep).

About delivery..not yetlah..i will sure post it after gave birth to my baby boy.
